Terms of Service

1. What Lapsehoidja24 is

Lapsehoidja24 is a marketplace where families find nannies, tutors, home helpers and other specialists, and specialists find families. We are not an employer, an agency or a service provider: the agreement, payment and liability are between the family and the specialist.

We verify specialists' identity and documents as far as reasonably possible, but do not guarantee the accuracy of user-provided information or the quality of services.

2. Account and user obligations

You must be at least 18 to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your account and sign-in link.

Information in profiles and listings must be true and up to date. Using other people's photos, invented experience or another person's data is prohibited.

Asking for prepayment, harvesting other users' data, spam, harassment and any unlawful activity are prohibited.

3. Bookings, reviews and trust badges

A booking on the platform is confirmed by both sides. Confirmed and cancelled bookings affect a specialist's reliability indicators.

A review can only be left after a booking confirmed on the platform that took place. We may remove reviews that violate these terms.

Trust badges (identity verified, first aid, video intro) mean our moderator has checked the relevant document or call. They are not a guarantee.

4. Paid services

For families, search, messaging and listings are free. A listing boost is paid.

For specialists, the profile is free. The Premium profile is paid monthly and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in your account; it stays active until the end of the paid period.

All prices shown on the platform include VAT. The rate is determined by the consumer's country and is shown on the payment confirmation.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal, except where the provision of a digital service has already begun with the consumer's consent.

5. Liability

The platform is provided as is. We are not liable for agreements between users, the provision of services or resulting damage, except to the extent required by law.

We may suspend or close an account for violating these terms.

6. Changes and governing law

We may change these terms by notice on the platform. The provider is registered in Latvia, but consumers keep the mandatory consumer-protection rights of their country of residence. A consumer in Estonia may turn to the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority and use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
